This keeps the center of gravity low so you stay stable if your dog pulls to one side. The bar is long enough to keep your pup away from the bike, too.

If you have to carry a bunch of gear, you're going to need a front rack. Sunlite's Gold Tec Front Rack has a capacity of 40 pounds, turning your bike into a serious workhorse. It's made from tubular aluminum and mounts to most fork bosses.

The Lockstand Extensions are an add-on for the Atlas Lockstand on the new GSD. They're designed to make the Lockstand even more stable while providing easy access to the stand at all times. Their extra-wide footprint extends out at a right angle from the GSD for maximum stability—essential when loading and unloading kids or heavy cargo. The Pannier Adapter is an accessory's accessory—but a very useful one. When using Cargo Hold 37 Panniers on your Tern GSD, the Pannier Adapter lets you install a child seat in the rear position of the rack and still attach the Cargo Hold 37's outer straps together, to make sure they are not dangling around while you are riding. The Sidekick Wide Decks extend the GSD's integrated lower decks widthwise to 12cm. They provide passengers with more comfy foot space, and riders with extra peace-of-mind when carrying kids. Designed to support up to 35kg each, the Sidekick Wide Decks are a great place to stash a toolbox or cooler. If you're hauling serious cargo, you'll want to keep the weight low to the ground for better handling and stability-and the Sidekick Wide Decks are ready for action.
